中国2014上半年经济形势回顾 
中国将在7月份的前三周内发布2014上半年（1~6月）的主要经济指标。这些数字意味着什么? 它们对下半年有什么指示？来参加这场特别的上海论坛吧，一起了解和讨论中国的经济形势如何影响你的职业、投资和商业机遇。 
这一论坛将涵盖截止会议当天发布的所有主要经济数据，以及经济新闻和相关事件，数据主要来自中国国家统计局，国际货币基金组织，主要投资银行和一些其它组织。 
主题包括： 
• 中国2014年上半年GDP、贸易数据和投资数据 
• 2014年上半年中国房地产市场和金融市场的简要回顾 
• 上半年数据发布前后出台的主要经济政策 
由于上海论坛期间所有聚会的重点都是了解和讨论，所以我们将首先介绍中国的主要经济数据--这些数据是怎样计算的，要注意哪些事情，和其他国家这些指标的计算方法有什么不同之处--然后进一步了解这些数据。 
本活动由上海交通大学MBA-C项目中国经济的教员Jason Inch 组织并主持，Jason著有两本关于中国宏观经济的书，包括《中国超级经济》。

Review China's Jan-June 2014 Economic Performance 
China is releasing its key economic indicators for the 2014 1st half (January to June) in the first three weeks ofJuly. What do the numbers mean? What are their implications for the rest of the year? Join us at this special Shanghai Forum event to learn and discuss how China's economic performance affects your career, investments, and business opportunities. 
At this Meetup, all of the major economic statistics that are available at the event date will be covered, as well as economic news and related events, featuring data from China's National Bureau of Statistics, the IMF, major investment banks and other organizations. 
Topics include: 
•China's 2014 1H GDP, trade, and investment figures 
•Brief review of China's realestate and finance markets in the first half of 2014 
• Major economic announcementsmade pre- or post-first-half results 
As in all Shanghai Forum meetings,the focus is on both learning and discussion so we'll start with an introduction to China's major statistics -- how they are calculated, whatissues to look out for, and differences from how other countries calculate thesame indicators -- and then proceed to a deeper understanding. 
This event will be hosted by your organizer, Jason Inch, instructor in China's economy at Shanghai Jiaotong University's MBA-C programme, and author of two books about China's macro economy including China's Economic Supertrends whichis also published in China as 中国超级经济.
