关于活动：

艺术家组合鸟头在余德耀美术馆当期展览中展出最新创作《情放志荡2017——夏至》，不同照片经过叠加拼贴产生出不同韵味。中国古典文化与西方摄影术的结合、纸上蒙太奇实验、艺术与技术关系的思考……鸟头的世界昭示着他们对世界的理解。

从当时随意敲击键盘无意识地命名“鸟头”，到如今作品中以镜头为鸟头的自觉创作；从摄“阿拉格上海”一城之影到他国景象，镜头也早已不止停留在平面化的呈现。

本周日，余德耀美术馆将邀请到艺术家宋涛与btr一起对谈，看看从06年拍摄的影像到最新的作品，谈谈鸟头与他们的镜头那些悄然的变化。

关于嘉宾

鸟头：鸟头是宋涛和季炜煜组成的艺术家组合，成立于2004年。作品收藏于泰特美术馆, 伦敦, 英国；ASTRUP FEARNLEY美术馆, 奥斯陆, 挪威；纽约当代艺术博物馆, 纽约, 美国；尤伦斯基金会, 瑞士。《情放志荡2017——夏至》正在余德耀美术馆群展“上海星空II”展出。本次讲座将邀请到宋涛。

btr：生活在上海的作家、译者及艺术评论人。对于鸟头的评论研究文字有《记忆的辩证的勇敢的悲伤的那些不同的风景》《鸟头：作为装置艺术的摄影》等。

About the Talk

BIRDHEAD’s latest work “Passions Bloom Ambitions from Vagina-Summer Solstice” is exhibiting in Yuz Museum, whose photo collage generates charms. The combination of Chinese classical culture and western photography, the experiment of montage on paper, the reflection between art and techniques… BIRDHEAD’s world show’s their understanding of the world.

In the beginning, they randomly typed and then named themselves “BIRDHEAD”, now they consciously make camera lens to be bird’s head in their work. At first, BIRDHEAD shot “our Shanghai (in Shanghai dialect)”, and later they shot exotic scenes. What’s more, their lens has already gone far away from graphics on paper.

This Sunday, Yuz Museum will invite artist Song Tao and btr to Yuztalk. Let’s see the changes through videos shot in 2006 and talk about their quiet changes.

About the Guests

Birdhead: Founded in 2004(Song Tao and Ji Weiyu). They both work and live in Shanghai. “Passions Bloom Ambitions from Vagina-Summer Solstice” is now showing in group exhibition Shanghai Galaxy II in Yuz Museum. Their artworks were collected by Tate(UK), Astrup Fearnley Museum(Norway), MOMA New York(USA), Guy & Myriam Ullens Foundation(Swizerland).

btr: Writer, translator and art critic living in Shanghai.
