关于活动

      艺术家们的创作常常从自然界获取灵感，《雨屋》中可望不可即的雨滴是对自然面貌的反叛性思考；叶永青的自然风景写生是对生活和艺术从容而闲适的接纳，宠物化的形象或许也是由此而生。

      五一国际劳动节即将来临，余德耀美术馆将为大家带来两场融合材料的工作坊。利用动物的毛做成的毛线、毛毡听起来也许一点儿也不时髦，它还能做出什么新花样吗？这次的工作坊中，毛线将与羊毛毡结合，大家会对这种看起来有点过时的材料有新的认识。这也是日本当下比较流行的一种手工，无需任何基础，经过简单的修剪就能做出一个萌物！

      五一小长假连续两天的工作坊，有两个自然主题供大家自由选择：

      Day 1 创作主题：狗狗。作为人类最亲密的伙伴，狗狗在狗年可是受到了前所未有的宠爱，在精心的修剪后，手中将逐渐显露出爱犬的模样。

      Day 2 创作主题：花朵。在五月的花海，不如用一针一线把想说的话缝进花朵送给母亲，放在哪里都是点睛的装饰。

关于材料

      日本进口毛线，日本进口羊毛毡布。羊毛成分达到百分之六十以上，相比不织布有更加稳定的厚度和韧性，质地柔软，色度纯正。经过双手简单的剪裁、缝合等基础做法的组合和色彩的搭配，马上就能制作出比较独特、有创意的软雕塑作品。

About activity

      Creations of artists are often inspired from the nature world, elusive rain drops of Rain Room are a rebellious reflection of features of nature; Ye Yong Qing’s Landscape paintings are calm and quiet acceptance of life and art, animal-oriented image is as well arisen from it.

As international Labor Day is coming soon, Yuz Museum is planning two fusion material craft workshop sessions for public. Animal fur-made knitting wool and felt might sound a little old-fashion: is it even possible to create any brand new? In this craft workshop, the combination of knitting wool with woolen felt will stimulate everyone new recognition about old-fashion materials. This is a trendy handcraft in Japan, which can create a cute pet with just simple trimming without any background knowledge.

About materials

      The knitting wool and woolen felt used in this workshop are imported from Japan, which contains wool above 60%. Soft in texture and rich in color, it is incomparably tougher and more durable than fabric. With simple trimming and seaming, such collection of basic practices and color matching, you can make unique and creative soft sculpture work.

      For Labor Day, different natural themes available for two consecutive days:

      Day 1 craftwork theme: Dog. Having been human’s best friend, dogs in dog year has been our favor overwhelmingly. After a meticulous trimming, the silhouette of dog will gradually appear.

      Day 2 craftwork theme: Flower. In the sea of May flowers, why not have your words sewn into flowers stitch by stitch to your mum? Wherever you place it, it will become a pin-pointing decoration.
