​What's up, returnees? 

Are you having fun living in Beijing? 

Did you just wave goodbye to the beloved campus and bar streets (the behated finals as well) last summer and came to work in Beijing after a pleasant and relaxing journey with parents? 

Or did you finally submit your resignation letter to the kind and inspiring boss, packed everything in your apartment, held farewell parties with friends and coworkers, and wiped your tears during the long flight before landing in Beijing and starting a new life?  

Or had you hugged your parents the last time before you left the place where you called home for the last a few years, forgone everything you took granted for, and re-embraced your motherland in Beijing while experiencing the so-called reverse culture shock? 

It might be hard for you to share all the feelings with your co-workers, friends, and parents since they were not there with you. Just like it might be hard for you to give up the habit of smiling at strangers and check your email like crazy.

Don't be upset. I am sure someone from the overseas returnee community in Beijing will understand and share your feelings, maybe someone from your city overseas or someone from the same industry.
