    Amir is a serial entrepreneur, pioneer in transforming businesses digital, TED fellow, founder of two startups in China and Australia, and Co-Founder & Head of Strategy of a startup based in China/US with offices in California, Shanghai, & Taiwan that was funded by Chinese venture capitalists.


    Amir`s findings on the digital power in China has made him to an expert in how to use social media, digital marketing/strategy, storytelling in digital, and content management. It has enabled him to start Roberto&Co, "A Community of Passionate and Motivated Entrepreneurs," that has helped over 40 brands in more than 12 industries. His clients and partners include: Adecco, Shanghai Business Review, AmCham, AustCham, Aboro Academy, Manchester Business School, Life-Line, Heart2Heart, Angel Jet Network, among others. 


    After the M&A of Roberto&Co., Amir transformed LinkedIn branding, helping his clients create online impressions that break rules, attract professionals in any required industry, and call to action to partner, do business, attract VCs, and more. 


    Amir also acted as a Head of PR at TEDxFuxingPark, “The Biggest Event Organizer of the Year” in Shanghai that welcomed bright minds from over dozens of industries, allowing him to network to change catalysts, thought leaders, and startup communities.


    In mid-2016, Amir co-founded the revolutionary project “WonderApp” that attracted a half million USD after a month of its release and noticed among Samurai VCs of Silicon Valley. Wonder was founded with an innovative spirit of the knowledge-sharing economy and a lofty objective to connect skilled and influential influencers and KOLs from a variety of industries with the purpose of engaging with their followers in the sharing economy.

    He is CEO of Chatek LLC, a Guangzhou startup building marketplace technologies native to social networks. He was co-founder of Feyin.net, a wireless receipt printer with dead-simple cloud API (2010-2012), andwelomo.com(2012-2014), the 1st connected hardware on WeChat offering millions of users instant photo fun. He's been an active member in Guangzhou's tech community, from organizing events to mentoring other startups. I was founding member (Interim Chair) of IEEE System, Man and Cybernetics Guangzhou Chapter(2004-2007).

    Hi! I'm Jan Smejkal and I build an awesome startup community in China, APAC and beyond on behalf of Startup Grind. I helped launch a venture for Rocket Internet (in 2 markets), built an online business during my last year of BA and found a passion in connecting and educating people in the startup world. 

    I grew up in a small village in the south of the Czech Republic with a strong desire to explore the world and challenge myself. I studied Mechatronics in high school, have a BA in Economics and Finance and am now pursuing an MSc in Management at the Peking University HSBC Business School in Shenzhen (China).

    In my free time, I study Mandarin Chinese and mentor companies, startups, and individuals on how to master the art of building long-lasting relationships (business networking).

    I am a healthy lifestyle geek that enjoys reading and helpingothers to achieve their goals.
