Dr Austin Williams

Associate professor of Architecture at Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University in Suzhou, China and the director of the Future Cities Project in London. He is also the China correspondent for The Architectural Review, contributing editor for AR Pacific Region, and also writes for L'Architecture d'Aujourd'hui. His latest book: "China's Urban Revolution: Understanding Chinese Eco-cities" (Bloomsbury, 2017) 

He is the author of several books, including ‘The Enemies of Progress’and co-editor of  ‘The Future of Community’ and ‘The Lure of the City.’ He co-founded the mantownhuman manifesto and the New Narratives initiative.

奥斯汀·威廉姆斯博士

西交利物浦大学建筑系副教授，伦敦“未来城市计划”总监。英国《建筑评论》杂志撰稿人，亚太地区特约编辑，法国《今日建筑》杂志撰稿人。最新著作：《中国的城市革命：理解中国生态城市》，布鲁姆伯利出版社，2017年。

曾出版作品《增长的敌人》，参与编写《社区的未来》和《城市的诱惑》。他还是“走向新人文主义宣言”计划和“新叙事倡议”的联合发起人。

Dr Chia-Lin Chen

Lecturer at Department of Urban Planning and Design, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. MSc urban regeneration and PhD degree in urban and regional planning in the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London, UK. She had extensive work experience including working on building and urban design for local government in Taiwan, international consultant for Asian Development Bank, post-doc researcher for EU INTERREG 4B project "SINTROPHER", and international expert for roundtable discussion organized by International Transport Forum, OECD.  

She is interested in issues of urban regeneration and place making. Her academic contributions focus through the lens of transport and its inter-relation with developmental impacts at multiple spatial levels, including uneven development, social/economic change and territorial transformation, motility and mobility, quality of life, multi-level governance through cross-cultural comparative studies. 

陈嘉琳博士

西交利物浦大学城市规划与设计系讲师，伦敦大学学院(UCL)巴特莱特规划学院城市与区域规划博士。曾任台湾地方政府规划师，从事城市设计、景观工程、建筑许可等工作；亚开行国际顾问；欧盟间可持续交通计划（SINTROPHER）做博士后研究；经合组织（OECD）国际交通论坛圆桌会议的国际专家。

研究兴趣包括城市更新，场所营造。致力于对交通与多层空间发展的相互关系的研究，包括不均衡发展，经济社会变迁，区域转型，能动和流动，跨文化的多层治理。
