哥大工程学院发展至今引领了整个工业的变革，在坚守推动工程技术前沿发展传统的同时，关注着人类的重大需求，并大胆开创通向未来之路。本场宣讲会上，哥大工程学院高级副院长Soulaymane Kachani教授将就申请硕士及博士项目进行详尽介绍，为你解答有关申请材料准备、申请流程及注意事项、学术规划、职业发展等问题。

On November 9, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing invites you to the Columbia Engineering Asia Roadshow 2019. Professor Soulaymane Kachani, Senior Vice Dean at Columbia Engineering, will be representing Columbia Engineering to connect with prospective students and re-connect with alumni, universities, and various companies, introducing Columbia Engineering programs and answering questions regarding application and learning experience.

We kindly invite prospective students who are interested in applying to Columbia Engineering MS and Ph.D. programs and Columbia Engineering alumni to join the event.

Soulaymane Kachani

哥伦比亚大学工程学院高级副院长、哥伦比亚大学教学事务副教务长

Kachani教授同时担任哥大工程学院工业工程与运筹学系教授。他的研究领域包括：动态定价、收益管理、机器学习、物流、供应链管理、算法交易、统计套利、交通流模型、运输分析。他教授的本科及研究生课程包括量化企业融资、工业经济学、运营咨询、物流、定价、生产与库存管理。Kachani教授也是哥伦比亚大学教学事务副教务长，负责监管哥伦比亚大学的教学策略发展。

Professor Kachani serves as Senior Vice Dean and Professor of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at Columbia Engineering. He conducts research in the fields of dynamic pricing, revenue management, machine learning, logistics, supply chain management, algorithmic trading, statistical arbitrage, traffic flow modeling, and transportation analysis. He teaches courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the areas of quantitative corporate finance, industrial economics, operations consulting, logistics, pricing, and production and inventory planning. Professor Kachani also serves as Columbia University's Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning. In this role, he oversees the development of Columbia University's teaching and learning strategies.
