Quantum Computing, sounds fascinating but how can it be used in our everyday life? Do you know that our universe operates on quantum mechanics? Humans learned about the fundamental laws of physics from nature and now are applying its principles to computation.
Quantum computing can help solve some of the world’s most challenging problems that classical computers are not able to solve. We will talk about what these problems are, how quantum computers work and how one may build one.
Quantum Computing has undergone rapid development in the past decade, emerging into a brand new industry. Leveraging the fundamental laws of nature to build computational algorithms and hardware, enterprises and academia have been steering the direction of this field.
The general public still may not have much insight into the subject, however. In the midst of COVID when most people are learning at home, to help people learn at home about the emerging technology quantum computing and democratize knowledge, Kitty Yeung started a project on Hackaday.io to educate the community about quantum computing through a comic strip,Quantum Computing & Some Physics: The Quantum Computing Comics Notebook.
