她就是First Code Academy CEO & 联合创始人——辛婥琳女士Michelle Sun，一个放弃高盛优渥职位，实现自己编程梦的80后创业者。

2013年伊始，在Michelle带领下，First Code Academy前后在香港、新加坡和台北开设培训中心，超过10,000名青少儿通过线上和线下全英文授课，学习和爱上编程，课程和产品深受家长和孩子好评。

今年，Michelle Sun和First Code Academy团队来到上海和深圳，开设夏令营和常规课程。

FCA Forum - From Goldman Sachs to Kids Coding Education: About Michelle

Michelle Sun(born late 1980s) is the CEO and co-founder of First Code Academy (www.firstcodeacademy.com), a K12 STEM education startup that teaches coding to kids from 4 years and above with hands on workshops, camps and regular programs.

Prior to starting First Code, she graduated from the inaugural class of Hackbright Academy, and held various technical roles in high growth startups in Silicon Valley, including as the first growth hacker at Buffer and Bump Technologies (acquired by Google in 2013). Born and raised in Hong Kong, she graduated from University of Chicago and began her career at Goldman Sachs as an equity analyst.

In addition to running First Code, Michelle is an instructor at Massachusetts Institute of Technology for the Master Trainers Program in Educational Mobile Computing.

She also founded Women Who Code (Hong Kong chapter), a community for women in technology. In her free time, she loves to do endurance training, train for triathlon, reading and traveling.

"Growing up in Hong Kong, I have always been fascinated by sciences and maths, but I found my passion in technology and the power of coding only after working in investment banking and starting my first tech startup.
Knowing how to code opened up a whole new world to me, including the opportunities to work at high growth technology startups in the Silicon Valley. I realize that coding also helps shape one’s way of thinking, by structurally decomposing and analyzing a problem. At the same time, coding is also a highly creative act, as it allows me to create in a whole new medium, i.e. technology, to transform my ideas into an app, website etc. That feeling is very empowering.
In addition, my experience in teaching coding and STEM in the Silicon Valley gave me the conviction that coding is the next literacy for the millennial generation.
With that, I felt compelled to help students in Asia gain digital literacy, through First Code’s coding and STEM programs. Developed by a passionate and top caliber team of engineers and educators, our structured, unique and robust curriculum aims to challenge students to think, act responsibly and be a creative leader in the digital era.
