12月8日，哥大全球中心 | 北京邀请您参加由浙江大学文化遗产研究院教授、北京大学人文社科研究院邀访教授薛龙春主讲的“刻帖、刻集与王铎的历史形象”专题讲座。

On December 8, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing invites you to a public lecture featuring Professor Longchun Xue. Professor Xue will be sharing his studies on Wang Duo, a Chinese calligrapher, painter, and poet in Ming dynasty.

1645年五月，王铎与钱谦益等弘光朝高官在南京献城投降，次年二月，他又在北京接受清廷的任命，从而成为一名贰臣。洗刷贰臣的耻辱感，始终是王铎及清初贰臣集团的主要努力。

In May 1645, Wang Duo and Qian Qianyi surrendered in Nanjing. In February the following year, he was appointed by the Qing dynasty in Beijing, thus becoming a turncoat-official. The main efforts of Wang Duo and the turncoat-official Group in the early Qing dynasty were always to wash away the humiliation of their identity.

1652年二月，王铎在家乡去世，在此前后，他的家族及姻戚开展了多种刻帖与刻集活动，以强化王铎在后世的书法与文学形象。刻帖的动力，除了保存王铎的书法，也有这些贰臣家族的历史记忆；而刻集则在文学以外，更以篡改的方式拉近王铎与明末清流的关系。

In February 1652, Wang Duo died in his hometown. Around this time, his family and relatives carried out various rubbings and collection activities to strengthen Wang Duo's calligraphy and literary image in later generations. In addition to preserving Wang Duo's works, the memory of these turncoat families have been preserved as well. In addition to literature, the collections also tamper with the relationship between Wang Duo and the people of Qingliu in late Ming dynasty.

薛龙春

Longchun Xue

2004年于南京艺术学院获文学博士，现为浙江大学文化遗产研究院教授，北京大学文研院邀访学者。主要研究16-18世纪中国书法篆刻，出版《雅宜山色：王宠的人生与书法》等。2008年获ACLS研究奖金，访学于波士顿大学艺术史系；2015年获利荣森纪念计划奖励，访学于台北故宫。 

Xue received his Doctor of Literature at Nanjing Academy of Art in 2004. He is currently a professor at the Research Institute of Cultural Heritag and a visiting scholar at the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of Peking University. His research interest is the Chinese calligraphy seal carving between the 16th and 18th centuries.
