Ladies Who Tech Founders Series: Will COVID-19 trigger an Edtech evolution?

一场疫情，让教育科技行业饱受关注，也不乏争议。新冠肺炎疫情发生以来，全国超过2亿学生在线学习。

从事网络教育的企业，也面临着行业洗牌。据科技日报报道， 2020年1月1日至2020年3月31日，我国从事网络教育相关的企业新增了7924家，相比2019年同期减少了28%。同期，也有1901家网络教育企业注销。这次疫情改变了世界，教育的格局也会发生巨大的变化。

The education technology industry has attracted much attention thanks to COVID-19. Yet, at the same time, there has been no short of criticism. Since the outbreak began, more than 200 million students in China have been attending classes remotely. 

Enterprises engaged in online education are also facing an industry reshuffle. According to Science and Technology Daily, 7,924 new Edtech companies registered in China between January 1 and March 31, a decrease of 28 per cent compared with the same period in 2019. At the same time, 1,901 Edtech firms went out of business. COVID-19 has changed the world, and its impact on education technology has been profound.
