我常常惊叹于Kitty的脑洞和超级酷炫的项目！她的项目曾被国内外众多媒体报道，包括Hackster.io，Women of Wearabls，《海归女神会》，Make：杂志，《硅谷密探》等。

I have been wowed by Kitty’s super cool projects, which have been featured by many media, such as Hackster.io, Women of Wearables Blog, CODAME Art +Tech Festival, HDDG 31 Supplyframe San Francisco, Style Engineers Worldwide, Make: magazine, Silicon Valley Insight, and Synchronized Chaos etc

在惊叹之余，我也常常想Kitty如何能这么多才多艺又多产，在科研、工程、可穿戴、绘画、写作、时尚设计等领域都有研究与创作作品。难道她是超人吗？

And I have been wondering how does she manage to master the knowledge and skills in so many different areas, including scientific research, engineering, wearables, graphic novels, music, painting, and fashion design! Is she a super woman?! 

其实呢，Kitty是一个生活在21世纪的文艺复习女性。她常常思考的问题是“如果有。。。的话，这个世界会不会更美好？人们会不会更幸福快乐”？Kitty相信通过结合工程师与艺术家的思维与技能可以实现这样的愿景，于是她身体力行，融合了她作为创客、工程师、艺术家以及设计师的多重身份，创作了大量创意作品，而这些作品也给了人们新的灵感！

Actually, Kitty describes herself as a renaissance woman in the 21st century! She has always been wondering“wouldn’tit be nice if the world had… wouldn’t people be happier?” Believing that being an engineer and artist may help, Kitty lives her life out as a prolific maker/engineer/artist/designer who creates creative works that inspire others!

  科学研究 Scientific Research

 时尚可穿戴 Wearables 

Helena是Kitty设计的一款裙子，结合小巧的TinyTILE及英特尔居里加速计，它能够通过手臂的运动来改变衣服上的光纤颜色。

Helena is a dress designed by Kitty, that uses Intel Curie accelerometer on TinyTILE and its small form factor to control colors of the optical fibers with arm movements.

这是一件通过手势召唤星座的裙子，将加速器捕捉手势与模式匹配（pattern matching）机器学习结合。

A dress with Curie's pattern matching engine on Arduino101 to control the embedded LEDs, which makes constellations show up on the dress.

一件可为手机或其他5V电器充电的服装，结合了太阳能板、3D打印与服装设计。

This outfit has a solar panel on the shoulder which can charge a 5V device, like a phone, a speaker, a portable charger, etc. through USB.

Kitty has also started her graphic novel series, where she expresses her meaning of life through her own drawings and narratives of the story.

Kitty Yeung是一名现居加州硅谷的创客。现任微软创新车库高级项目经理，哈佛应用物理博士毕业，同时从事科研、服装设计、绘画与音乐。

Kitty在将艺术设计与科学科技结合，比如科技服装设计，应用新技术在服装设计与生产方法中，致力于利用高科技协助传统领域发展。她将在活动中和我们一起探讨这个新兴领域中的挑战与机遇。

Kitty Yeung is a physicist, maker, fashion designer, artist and musician based in Silicon Valley, California. She works as a senior program manager + creative technologist at the Garage, Microsoft.
