ACCA recent survey reveals that finance professionals need to be as commercially aware as they are technically skilled. There is a common consensus that roles across the profession will become more strategic. The rising importance of financial information in business decision making is elevating the role of finance professionals across organisations, and at senior levels finance professionals are much more actively engaged in strategic decisions.

Therefore, at this training, we will extract the part of strategic position from ACCA paper P3 Business Analysis to help finance people to have a general idea of how to understand business strategy, and think like a business leader. And we would explore the following areas of interest:

1.    How business environment affect business strategy

2.    How to use Portfolio theory at corporate level to make business decision.

3.    Application of  the theories with case studies
