中国首次大型剩女主题话剧演出“剩下的独白-Leftover Monologues”

介绍：

你是否也为爱情痛苦着，你是否也想和别人讨论您心中的那个隐蔽的性，你是否也曾被家里人安排的尴尬的相亲折磨着，你是否也在爱情的理想和现实中苦苦挣扎，这些事情吞噬着我们，影响着我们，但是从未有人大胆的说出来。

我们召集了一批热血沸腾的中国人和外国人，他们将通过类似“阴道独白”的表现方式讲述了关于中国复杂的爱情，性，婚姻，和恋爱之间的关系。所有的独白都是发生在那些话剧的主人公身上的，或者发生在他们身边的那些令人激动人心得鲜活案例。

加入我们，带你走进这些寻常人眼里的爱恨情仇，一起感受这些仍然炙热的青春。

At the end of July 2014, we were on staging China's first-ever rendition of the "Leftover Monologues." in Meridan Space. Structured similarly to the "Vagina Monologues," (don't worry if you've never heard of or seen that play), ours is a play uniting a dozen or so brazen Chinese (and foreign) voices in a stirring evening of entertainment and insight into the complexities of love, sex, marriage and relationships in China - with an emphasis on the unrealistic societal pressures/expectations that accompany all of the above.

Our second performance was at the Polish Embassy on August 2nd. Our next performance will be at the Dong Si 77 Theater, near Qian Liang Hutong. 2014年7月26号,我们在Meridan Space时差空间奉上中国”剩下的独白”的首次演出.它和”阴道独白”的结构类似,(别担心你从来没有听过或看过那个表演)。演出在26号那个在一个激动人心的晚上联合了约17个胆子够大的中国(或外国)人的声音,来深刻理解在中国社会爱情,性,婚姻、亲密关系与不现实的社会压力、期望之间的复杂关系。

8月2号，我们再度在波兰大使馆上演了这出精彩的剩下的独白，引起了国内外观众的热烈的反响。

这次演出得到了Global Times, Time Out, CCTV 等等知名媒体的支持和报道。以及以色列纪录片导演的跟踪采访。以及得到了社会各界的关注和好评。同时，我们也收到了各个剧场的邀请，于2014年8月8号在东四77剧场演出第3场。

Join us for an evening of sparkling entertainment thatunites a dozen brazen Chinese (and foreign) voices in a rousing adaptation ofthe “Vagina Monologues;” a play which provides stirring new insight into thecomplexities of love, sex, marriage and relationships in China.

We’ll regale you with tales of lost innocence and sexualdiscovery, embarrassing blind dates orchestrated by bumptious matchmakingmothers, and electrifying, but ill-fated love stories. Candidly, viscerally,and ardently, our performers will convey their battles with duty and desire,passion and practicality, and of course, give you an earful of the triumphs,travails and tribulations of being/fearing/or totally loving - being aleftover.

关于发起人玫瑰女士的介绍-

The "Leftover Monologues" is being organized by Rosann Lake, an American journalist based in Beijing who has just finished writing a book about love, marriage, relationships, sex and shengnü in China. As part of her research for this book, she interviewed over 100 single Chinese women (and men) from all walks of life, and has accumulated a collection of stories and research about the complexities of their romantic lives and of the unique relationship challenges young men and women face in China.

此次活动的发起人是在北京生活的美国记者玫瑰女士，她刚写完一本关于爱，婚姻，爱情，性，和中国的剩女的书。为了写这本书，她采访了100个单身的中国男人和女人从她们各式各样的生活中采集的故事，关于他们浪漫生活的复杂性，以及年轻的中国男人和女人面临的独具特色的爱情挑战。

Pressure to marry by a certain age, endless blind dates, encouragement to marry within a certain social status, persistent badgering to have a baby - we think you have an idea of what we're talking about :-) Facilitating China's first-ever production of"The Leftover Monologues" is Rose's way of giving the microphone back to the brave"leftovers" who inspired her work and providing a safe place for them to speak candidly and viscerally about topics that matter deeply to them.
