Join Culture Yard for an afternoon of Calligraphy!

Ayiana, our teacher will guide you through the basics of this anicent art and you can create your very own piece of calligraphic art! 

The workshop will cover how to use the tools and a short history of the Tang dynasty and regular script. There will be plenty of time to try your hand at this ancient art.

You don't need to bring anything, all you need is your creative spirit! 

Who is our teacher?

Ayiana studied calligraphy at a number of institutions, including the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the

Chinese Calligraphy Institute of Art. She felt a responsbillity to share her craft, which has inspired her to teach calligraphy for the past four years. Through her passion and focus is on Calligraphy, she also teaches seal cutting and is a member of the Yidao Seal Cutting Association.

Ayiana's free-spirited approach to Calligraphy makes it difficult for her to ever choose a favorite work, so enjoy a short sample of her art.
