拾萬空间即将呈现谭英杰的个人项目：想象，你正在漫游。

谭英杰的两个感受构成了本次展览的诱因：一是小时候有关黑白电视上雪花的噩梦，二是现实世界中快要被隔绝的预感。

这两种感受分别跟信息和信息的副本有关，信息在传播中会自动生产出大量副本，它们无处不在，就像是阴暗世界的苔藓，不断滋生蔓延。信息扩张会带来焦虑，其背后隐藏的权力又让焦虑变成一种不稳定的社会情绪，这些信息让社会性格变得也如副本一样，难觅源头，难觅真相。

展览将以一种游戏方式呈现。封闭的展厅就像一个室内游泳池，其中遍布各种“塑料新闻球”，观展便需要进入“泳池”，并随时注意脚下。四个相互呼应的寓言式作品设置在空间的四个角落，三根柱子位于池中央，并连接着许多天线，上面挂着谭英杰书写的短句。在这里，天线是接收的媒介，艺术家将自己想象为一条信息，并在其间漫游。表面上，展览呈现了一种“过家家”般的松弛状态，但每件作品都释放出一种怀疑和陌生感——一种笼罩在信息副本权力之下的轻松。

谭英杰，1992 年出生于湖南，2016 年毕业于中央美术学院雕塑系，现工作生活于北京。近期项目包括：白元件（2019），拾萬空间/尤伦斯当代艺术中心-大客厅；蛇与梯子（2019），C5画廊；雾谷（2018），墨方空间；速度速度加快（2018），Mstudio；不可靠的叙述者（2017），泰康空间等。

Hunsand Space is pleased to present Tan Yingjie's solo project: "Imagine, you are roaming."

Two of Tan Yingjie's sensible experiences inspired this exhibition: one is a nightmare about the static TV screen in his childhood, and the other is the presentiment of global isolation.

Both of these experiences are relevant to information and its replicas. In disseminating information, a tremendous amount of reproduction is produced, and their ubiquity grows like moss in the dark world, spreading infinitely. The expansion of information can often be a source of anxiety, concealing an invisible power; such extension adds stress to the social temperament. Hence, with the impact of such transformation, social character's source and truth, like the replicas, become untraceable.

The exhibition will be presented as a game. The enclosed exhibition space is like an indoor Pool, filled with Plastic News Balls. Entering into the exhibition is to get into the pool while being cautious of one's steps. The four works of art installed at the four corners of the space resonate allegorically. The three pillars in the middle of the pool connect many antennas, on which one finds the short phrases Tan Yingjie has written. Here, the antennas serve as reception devices, as the artist imagines himself being the messages, where he could roam freely. Upon first glance, the exhibition presents a "playful" and laidback attitude, however, every work of art releases a skepticism and bewilderment – a kind of lightness under the engulfment of replicated information.

Tan Yingjie, born in 1992, Hunan, graduated from the Sculpture Department of the Central Academy of Fine Art and is currently working and living in Beijing. His recent projects include “Blank Element”(2019), Hunsand Space/UCCA Workshop; “Snake and Ladder” (2019), CLC GalleryVenture; “Fog Valley”(2018),Mocube; “Speed Speed Accelerate” (2018), Mstudio; “Unreliable Narrator” (2017), Taikang Space, etc.

拾萬空间于2014年成立于草场地艺术区211号院，并在2018年迁至798艺术区。拾萬空间对常规意义的方盒子展览保持警惕，意欲从当代艺术语言中的语法和语意结构出发并将之延展到更广泛的领域；希望通过持续的展览和项目，激发出当下文化中被忽视的部分，将当代艺术思想的价值生发到你我的身边。

Hunsand Space is founded in 2014, in No. 211 Caochangdi Art District, and is relocated to the 798 Art Zone in 2018. In keeping vigilance with the conventional ways of presenting art exhibitions in white cubes, Hunsand Space aims to take the semantics and syntax from the language of contemporary art as a point of departure and expand them into a broader field. Through its vigorous programs of exhibitions and projects, it hopes to stimulate the overlooked aspects in contemporary culture and brings the values of contemporary art into our lives.
