The Department of Culture and Education of German Consulate General in Shanghai is joining hands with the Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai to bring you a crazy comedy from Israel “Kicking Out Shoshana”. With a hilarious storyline, this movie inspires people to rethink the meaning and possibilities of sexual orientation.

Ami Shoshan is the star of the "Jerusalem Sons" football club, a team known for its violent, racist and homophobic fans. Ami’s masculinity is off the charts. He is loved by huge amount of fans and the media. Shoshan’s glamourous life ended on one unfortunate evening when he flirts with a beautiful woman not knowing that she is the mistress of a local Mafia boss, “Blackie”. The punishment for this offence is that Ami must summon a press conference and announce that he is gay. Ami’s coming out shocked the press and his fans. He is brutally mocked by his fans as Shoshana. However, his journey as Shoshana goes onto a totally unexpected direction.

The Israeli Wonder Woman Gal Gadot is making the character Mirit alive with her charm.
