About the Event
As China sets to lead AI in theworld by 2030, many factories have begun making their initial investments intoto replacing (augmenting) traditional labour with robotics and AI as a way toincrease production and reduce cost of labour. For many, the challengesof installing (and maintaining) automated lines has been just as challenging asmanaging local government officials worried about job losses in their areas, but over the next few years it is expected that China will continue to seesignificant investment into these technologies.
With the deployment of thesetechnologies has come a growing public debat about which jobs will be safe, what will be the required skills of the future, and what will be the challengesthat are faced by those who are unable (or unwilling) to train up on thoseskills. All of which, in the public domain are relevant.
To dive into these issues further, and to explore the need for firms to manage the deployment of thesetechnologies carefully, we would like to invite you to join us in Shanghai forthis executive workshop where our speakers, who will share their insights intothe challenges and opportunities this shift will pose, the questions that wehope to help participants answer are:
• What is the future of AI/ torobotics in the supply chain
• What industries are the mostexposed, and what are the expectations that stakeholders will have (of industryleaders)?
• What will firms need todo, and say, through the transition to protect (or build) their brand?
