 Event Details 

Are you curious about what skills or programming languages it takes to build a webpage? It’s actually not as challenging as it sounds and in this workshop, we will teach yo the basics you need to build your first webpage! You can imagine a webpage like a building - every building has a solid frame and some design before you can add dynamic features like light switches and appliances. In website development, HTML provides the ‘frame’ while CSS provides the ‘design’. Only after you have these core elements can you build on top of it.

 What You Will Learn...

1. The basic syntax of HTML & CSS

2. How to structure your webpage

3. Build the structure of your own personal profile webpage with HTML under the instruction of the instructor.

4. Use CSS to decorate your webpage and customize it to your liking.

 Pre-requisites and equipment:

1. You do not need any prior coding experience to participate

2. Please bring your laptop

3. Please download and install Sublime Text editor on Google Chrome browser (www.sublimetext.com)
