In an organization, digital transformation and industry policy change is more than asking employees to learn coding or moving servers to the cloud. It’s equally about people and the willingness to truly drive change.

When it comes to leading digital transformation initiatives and the talent strategy under the background of great changes in industry, women are ready. A Harvard Business Review study showed that women have the personal and professional skills to succeed in a digital environment while remaining committed to communication and networking. They’re comfortable with cutting-edge technologies such as AI, machine learning and blockchain, and are willing to head up innovative collaborations to enlarge their companies’ success.

On Thursday April 29, Ladies Who Tech Beijing is hosting our In Action series in partnership with pharmaceutical giant Pfizer to explore the theme of Women in Digital Transformation and Industry Change. We’re excited to be featuring top female digital and pharmaceutical leaders, looking at case studies of the trends of future organizations and talent development under the background of huge industry changes, and how companies are achieving sustainable successes through digital initiatives, as well as studying how low-code and no-code tools can speed up the entire process.

We’ll be considering women in digital transformation and industry change through three main areas:

Talent: More than anything else, talent plays an important role in companies undergoing tremendous industry changes. It is vital to assemble the right team of people who can work together and bring about sustainable change within the organization.
