写在放映前：

“遇见女导演”是由漫不经心影像与艺术发起，摄影笔联合主办的长期放映与讨论的活动，将在每个月两个周六下午放映女导演的电影作品。我们希望透过电影的媒介反观女性视角下的现实世界，同时制造一个主流价值观（在中国经常是由男性主导的）之外的电影欣赏空间。透过女性视角再次看见这个世界。

‘See the World Through Women’s Eyes’ is an ongoing film screening and discussion series by Inadvertent Video and Art, cohosted by Camera Stylo. Every other Saturday afternoon, we will present a film by a female director, followed by a discussion with the filmmaker. The series will reflect on the real world from the perspective of women, while creating a space for film appreciation that goes beyond mainstream values (which are often still dominated by men in China). Thus we will see the world anew through women’s eyes.

关于导演 About the Director

左乙芳 Yvonne Zuo

左乙芳，毕业於台湾艺术大学电影系及北京电影学院导演系MFA。研究生師從田壯壯、周新霞、王红卫老師，其毕业作品<成年礼>於国内外展映上屡获佳绩。擅長以细腻的情感面探讨人性与关系的题材，並且致力於带给观众心灵成長的电影。做为备受肯定的新人导演，曾获选进入”2016年成龙电影A计画”(由国际知名演员成龙所创立)及”2016年金马电影学院”(由国际名导侯孝贤所创立)。

Yvonne Zuo has worked in the film industry for twelve years, working her way up starting as a PA in 2008. With a BA in Film Production from the Taiwan University of Arts and a MFA in Directing from the Beijing Film Academy, she has screened her short films at many domestic and international film festivals, winning several awards. Among her accolades, Yvonne has been officially selected by Beijing IFF Jackie Chan Plan A Workshop and 2016 Golden Horse Film Academy 2016(Founded by world-renowned filmmaker HOU Hsiao-Hsien).

石头是个生活在西北农村的留守儿童，他从小就喜欢坐在黄河与支流的交匯口，看著支流投入母亲河的怀抱，再连同他的梦想一同流向他所神那往无边无际的未來。怀著这样孤独又壮阔的梦，直到一天，他遇见了这个和他有著相同梦想的女人。他在这女人身上找到飢渴已久的母性温柔，甚至在她眼里找到和他一样的孤独。渐渐地，他开始依賴她，又想保护她，而他所编织的梦裡面，开始有了她的影子…

在这乾渴之地，红姨的温柔如迟來的甘霖。爱意在石头的心中日渐滋長，卻不知红姨正在她心中日渐死去…

ShiTou is an orphan living in the rural expanse of Shanxi, China. As far back as he can remember, he sits on the banks of the Yellow River, watching the currents flow, as if into the arms of his waiting mother, dreaming of a limitless future. He clutches onto this vast and lonely hope until one day he meets a woman with the same loneliness in her eyes as he. He finds a maternal warmth and love in her he can only barely recognize. Slowly but surely, he begins to rely on her, wants to protect her, and sees her in his dreams…

In this parched land, just as the love in his heart grows, her will to live keeps shrinking in hers.
