Jack & Jill (J&J) is an informal social dance competition, for which you sign up without a partner, and get assigned a random one. Each short round the contestants change partners and dance improvisation to music chosen by organizers. It's a low pressure, fun contest, focusing more on dancing with everyone in the room and promoting the social way of dancing. The winners are often not the most technical dancers, but the most enjoyable to dance with. 

​Jack & Jill (J&J) 是一种非正式的社交舞蹈比赛。报名的时候不需要携搭档一起报名，比赛中会随机被分配一个搭档。每一小轮比赛都会更换搭档，并且随着组织者播放的音乐即兴跳舞。这是一种毫无压力、很有乐趣的比赛，它更多的着重于让大家跟每一个人跳舞，体现出舞蹈的社交属性。最终的冠军一般都不是技术最好的舞者，而是跳得最投入、最有趣的那个人。
