As one of the biggest beneficiaries since COVID-19 pandemic, e-commerce salvages the retail industry, as few people all over the world opt for brick-and-mortar stores under lockdown. Most of us are increasingly familiar with Waimai (food delivery), next-day delivery, or on-demand delivery, but have you ever noticed the complex links in the supply chain that manage to deliver and transport parcels to you? Are you curious how logistics service providers continue to offer added-value services at low operating costs?

The evolution of technology is pushing the boundaries and optimizing customers’ experiences. For those companies embracing innovative technology, they are better at working efficiently and solving problems under difficult circumstances compared to their peers. The number of companies allocating and investing in smart software and systems are on the rise. They believe that making maximum and intelligent use of technologies including data analytics, blockchain, autonomous vehicles, or cloud promises improved efficiency.

However, according to McKinsey’s research, high level of external uncertainty—political, social, and epidemiological—will likely be with us well into 2021. Meanwhile, increasing customers’ expectations will generate much pressure. Given these scenarios, if a logistics player is ambitious enough to achieve economic profit growth and outperform the rest, remaining flexible and resilient to shifting conditions will be critical. Technology is likely to outweigh other factors as a prerequisite for success.

雪夷是一位初级全栈网页开发人员，同时在Python，移动端开发和机器学习方面也有经验。她目前就职于Matrak Industries，一个为建筑行业提供端到端供应链跟踪施工技术的技术平台。在新冠疫情期间，她同时帮助公司管理与中国制造商的客户关系。雪夷毕业于中国宁波诺丁汉大学和澳大利亚墨尔本莫纳什大学，获得了环境科学理学学士学位和信息技术硕士学位。她在多样化的环境中学习和工作，并且致力于对推广多元文化和消除刻板印象。

Xueyi is a Full-stack web developer with experience also in Python, mobile development, and machine learning. She has been part of the engineering team at Matrak, an end-to-end supply chain visibilty platform for construction industry, and has been an integral part of our growth in China, managing customer relationships with Chinese manufacturers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Xueyi graduated from the University of Notthingham, Ningbo, China and Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, with a BSc in Environmental Science and Master of Information Technology. She studies and works in a diverse environment and is interested in promoting diversity to eliminate stereotypes.

王晓宇 Cheri Wang

Cheri Wang is the Founder and CEO of Coshipper, a Supply Chain and logistics company servicing Ecommerce sellers across the world. Involved in China's Ecommerce ecosystem since the age of 17, Cheri has extensive experience in Global Ecommerce and Consumer product supply chain, including the founding of her own global logistics company, Coshipper, in 2018. Coshipper ranks first among Amazon's recommended Global Logistics Service Providers, serving cross-border sellers around the world. Cheri has over 10 years of product experience, 8 years of cross-border e-commerce experience, and 4 years of logistics experience. Cheri obtained her Masters in Luxury Brand Management at Polimoda in Italy, and worked for Prada.

韩宁 Han Ning

德路里中国董事

Director at Drewry China 

韩宁领导德路里中国办公室，并在德路里咨询团队任高级顾问。她于2011年加入德路里，并曾在德路里新加坡工作一段时间。她领导德路里中国所有板块的业务，包括定期航运市场分析报告、航运和港口咨询项目以及航运物流项目等。她负责的项目主要包括航运码头企业的战略发展规划、海外项目投资战略和市场评估，商业分析和尽职调查、IPO、投资机会评估、费率基准评估、风险评估等。项目遍布非洲、地中海、中东、南亚、东南亚、中南美洲及加勒比海地区等。

Han Ning is head of Drewry China operations and a senior consultant in Drewry consultancy arm. She oversees Drewry China in all sectors including maritime research, shipping and port projects, as well as logistics projects. She joined Drewry in 2011 and has worked in Drewry Singapore office prior to Shanghai. With Drewry, she has been leading various port, shipping, and logistics projects. Her project experience includes commercial analysis and due diligence, company strategy formulation, IPOs, investment opportunities assessment, tariff benchmarking, risk assessment, etc. Her project experience covers various regions including China, Africa, SEA, South Asia, Mediterranean, Australia, South America and North America.

张祺 Zhang Qi

张祺，数学系背景，22年工作经验，从马士基（IBM）、JDA（迈极）、红色草原到自主创业，张祺先生专注于零售、供应链相关的信息技术，服务的企业跨越快速消费品、零售、物流和制造，在不同项目和企业中经历过研发、顾问、项目经理、销售负责人和CEO等多种角色，擅长发现行业问题、第一性原则上的结构化思考和整体解决方案的提供。专业覆盖供应链网络设计与优化、需求预测、主生产计划与补货、运输计划与优化、商品追溯、仓库管理和消费者行为分析。

Zhang Qi has 22 years of work experience from Maersk (IBM), JDA, Red Prairie to starting his own company focusing on retail and supply chain related technologies. He served client companies across consumer goods, retail, logistic and manufacturing areas as developer, consultant, project manager, sales leader, CEO and diverse roles. He is expert at diagnosing industry problems and developing total solutions based on First Principle and structural thinking. His industry expertise lies in supply chain network design and optimization, demand forecasting, master production plan controlling, transportation planning, product traceability, inventory management and customer behavior analysis.
