The Collective Executive Workshop: 2018 – The Year Sustainability Goes Strategic
收起
While China has struggled for many years address the various environmental, social and economic challenges posed by 20+ years of exponential growth, it is in 2018 that we believe will prove to be the year China takes sustainability strategic.
For some firms, it may mean increase regulations, for some,it may be increase in fines, as we have seen with the recent factory closures, announcements of environmental taxes, which are pushing firms towards a higher standard, or the massive opportunities in shared economies, clean energy, education, healthcare, and food safety.
All areas, for majority of sustainability minded executives, should be seen as opportunities to build brand equality, new markets, and drive innovation in new ways. Through this session, we will ask a panel of executives to speak about a specific event or trend that they have seen that leads them also to believe that sustainability in 2018 will be strategic … and what they are planning to do about it.
