Anomaly OPEN is an inspiring creative space located on the ground floor of Anomaly, and is open for public events and talks. Every Friday, we host a different event that is open to both member of the agency, the local community, and the broader public, on topics ranging from film screenings to product demos, talks to workshops...... and everything between.

On April 20th, 2018, we are delighted to have Marcial Jesus, Managing Partner&Founder, Javier Gonzalez, Design Partner, of 100 architects to be our this week's guest speakers, to share their understanding of 'Human scale architectural objects for social interaction in the public realm'.

Marcial Jesus, Founder&Managing Director at 100, originally from Chile, graduated in 2010 from the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning of the Universidad de Chile and entered the Chilean Architects' Association in 2011. Marcial gained international working experience in Rome, Rotterdam, Santiago and also 5 years in China.

Javier Gonzalez, Design Partner at 100, holds a postgraduate Master degree in Advanced Architecture&Digital Fabrication from Institute for Advanced Architecture of California, Barcelona, Spain, and has specialized his skills in Computational Design and Digital Fabrication Process. Javier has working experience in Europe countries and also 4 years in China.

Now Marcial and Javier are leading the 100 Studio in Shanghai, developing projects with special focus in the public projects with special focus in the public realm, exploring the boundaries between the cityscape, place making, street art and urban marketing.

100 is an architecture studio that doesn't do buildings (at least not in the conventional way). It's a team of young creative architects and their work lies at the intersection of place making, street art, urban marketing and urban interventions. 100 specializes in street architecture and urban interventions, architectural objects both ephemeral and permanent which encourage the occurrence of social dynamics and unique experiences, creating human scale landmarks.
