The entrepreneurship in China has enjoyed a fast growth. Nowadays, many entrepreneurs wonder if they could apply innovative thinking to stimulate the realization of social responsibility and to create a better society. 

8月31日，哥大全球中心 | 北京邀请您参加哥大全球中心创新创业系列论坛第七期 —— 创业向善是否为社会革新的一记良药？让我们回归本质，深度理解如何用商业模式解决社会可持续发展问题。

On August 31, Columbia Global Centers | Beijing invites you to the seventh panel discussion on social entrepreneurship and philanthropy. The panel is aimed at deepening our understanding of how to use commercial models to solve social problems sustainably.

同时，本期论坛将探讨作为初创公司，是否要将履行社会责任作为企业文化建设的重要一环？创业向善对初创公司而言，会带来生存的危机，还是会实现公司发展和社会革新的双向收益？

The panelists will also discuss whether fulfilling social responsibility is an important aspect of the corporate culture for startup companies and whether business for good will bring survival crisis to startup companies or benefit both corporate development and social innovation.

Jingjing Gina LONG 

善吟共益理事长，一美元爱心计划创始人，哥伦比亚大学社会工作学院2019届校友。善吟共益致力于开创乡土公益旅行模式。在过去的八年里，已号召了上千志愿者参与到公益助学活动中，陪伴了九百多名乡村儿童的夏天。她于2012 年发起一美元爱心计划，号召留学生在中国、美国、加拿大等地组织游街募捐活动。2018 年8月，龙晶睛及组织相关经历曾登上微博热搜排行榜，同时她的事迹也被中国日报、新华社、中国青年报等三百余媒体报道。她曾被《洛杉矶时报》评为“全美华人30 位30 岁以下社会公益类创业精英”，曾获“一带一路亚盟青年领袖奖”。

Ms. Jingjing Long is the President of Kindforce; founder of One Dollar Project. She graduated from Columbia University school of social work in May 2019. Kindforce is a social innovation organization that provides long-term voluntary teaching, voluntourism, and creative learning space for the rural children. In the past eight years, she inspired over thousands of international students to participate in volunteer works. Kindforce has supported over nine hundreds children. In August 2018, Long and related experience of the organization being recognized as the topical event, and ranked in the top 20 on the Weibo hot search list. At the same time, her story was also reported by more than 300 media reports such as China Daily, Xinhua News Agency, and China Youth Daily. She was named in "All America Chinese Youth Federation Top 30 under 30" and "Belt and Road - ASEAN Youth Leadership Award".

汪星宇

Xingyu WANG

社会企业乡村笔记的联合创始人。乡村笔记致力于用教育连接城乡，已带领逾千名城市学生去到国家级贫困县乡村研学，并资助近百位乡村学生来到城市上职业发展与生涯规划的课程。乡村笔记曾获共青团中央转发，获国内外40余家主流媒体报道。汪星宇是《中国青年》杂志封面人物，入选福布斯中国30位30岁以下精英，曾获江苏卫视一站到底栏目冠军，已出版个人作品《这一站刚好遇见你》，曾在TedX、造就、壹心理等平台演讲，获得微博关注12万+，是青年人中的意见领袖。

Wang Xingyu is the co-founder of Beyond the City, a social enterprise aims to bridge cities and villages through education. Beyond the City has brought over 1000 city millennials  to do field study projects in rural areas of China and has sponsored near 100 village students to take career planning course in cities like Shanghai and Chengdu. Those programs have been covered by over 40 mainstream media, such as China Daily, People's Daily, and etc. Wang is the cover person of China Youth Magazine, the Nominee of Forbes China 30 under 30 list, and the Champion of a popular Chinese talent show "Who is Still Standing". Wang published his first book in 2017 and earned  more than 120 thousand followers on Weibo, China's top social platform, as a key opinion leader among the youth in China.

Nicholas Manske

Alariss主席兼联合创始人。Alariss是一家跨境咨询和搜索公司，利用大数据为全球各大公司招揽顶尖人才和资源。Manske毕业于哈佛大学和巴黎欧洲管理学院，曾作为美国国务院的外交官，在亚洲、中东和华盛顿特区工作。期间，他参与推进美国经济谈判、海外投资和国际创业活动，包括组织全球企业家峰会（GES），吸引了世界各地的企业家、投资者及其支持者前来参与。他还与J.P. Morgan合作，为某中东政府协调5亿美元的融资。在“阿拉伯之春”期间，他担任美国领事。Manske掌握英语、法语和基础汉语，曾在北京大学学习一年。

President and Cofounder of Alariss, a cross-border advisory and search firm (www.alariss.com), which uses big data to match global companies with top talent and resources. An alumnus of Harvard College and the Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires in Paris, he was previously a diplomat for the U.S. Department of State working in Asia, the Middle East, and Washington DC. As a diplomat, he was tasked with advancing US economic negotiations, foreign investments, and international entrepreneurship initiatives, including organizing the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES), a preeminent annual gathering that convenes entrepreneurs, investors, and their supporters globally; coordinating $500 million of financing for a Middle Eastern government in conjunction with J.P. Morgan; and serving as U.S. Consul during the Arab Spring. He speaks English, French, and some Mandarin. He also studied for a year at Peking University.

Kehan Roderick DONG

YC中国（Y Combinator China）创始团队成员，投资经理；境外旅行公司逆旅环球体验innerjourneys.space创始人及前CEO，福布斯30U30。公益组织爱的代码thecodeoflove.org创始人及前理事长，组织上千人连续9年暑期山区支教，专注教育公平，获AACYF美国华裔30U30。

Associate at Y-Combinator China and Founder of The Code of Love, which provides support for the education system in the low-income regions. Since its inception, there are over 1800 people joined as the volunteers. Founder of the INNER JOURNEYS (innerjourneys.space), a boutique online travel agencies and lifestyle media platform.
