🚫 NO CODE. Focus on gaining user validation. Later, when you know what to spend your time and budget on, you can make it pretty and robust by hiring the right skills in UI UX design, coding, product development etc.

Build a Mobile Directory @ The Office
Instructor: Nic Cheng-Baron (SLP Fellow Batch 7) runs Codeless Ventures as a side project.
Nic works on the Future of Work with specialist agencies and platforms e.g. Talmix.com, a talent marketplace like Toptal or Catalant for business consultants.
Prior to that, Nic worked as a Corporate Ventures manager at Universal, Disney, Virgin Media/LGI and in TMT/Media & Communications M&A advisory for over 12 years, crafting and analyzing investments, growth stories, business plans and action plans with management teams.
By working with early stage venture founders and teams, Nic learnt tools & methologies used in innovation. Nic also completed bootcamps such as SLP, OnDeck, LeWagon, GA. Nic is an alum from CEIBS MBA, London LBS, Paris PSL (Digital Media) & ParisTech.

As most startups fail, we want to give them the tools to fail faster, at lower cost than with fully-coded products, so that they can iterate and move on.
By building their ideas into functional prototypes at low cost and time, founders can test with real users, collect real data, de-risk the process to gaining initial user validation and traction, until they find some success and a Minimum Viable Product.
Once they nce you get to some level of Product Market Fit and know what to build, it can make sense to spend budget and call on expertise in design (UX UI), coding (full stack web development), Project Management, DevOps, Product Marketing etc.
