George has been dabbling in the BSD world since his undergraduate days in the mid-1980s. He was granted his commit bit in 2004, and has served two terms on the FreeBSD Core team between 2006 and 2010.
In 2011, he started organizing the semi-annual FreeBSD Vendor Summits that gather commercial customers of FreeBSD along with project members in order to facilitate the movement of technologies between the Project and its customers.
George co-authored “The Design and Implementation of the FreeBSD Operating System.” His technical contributions are mostly within the FreeBSD network stack with occasional forays into other parts of the system.

George在80年代中期就开始使用BSD。他在2004年得到FreeBSD代码上传权限（即committer）。在2006到2010年期间，两度担任FreeBSD核心成员。从2011年起，他开始组办FreeBSD厂商峰会，让FreeBSD社区成员和使用FreeBSD的厂商聚在一起，以进一步加强技术的交流和互动。Georges是《FreeBSD操作系统设计与实现》的作者之一。他主要从事FreeBSD网络栈的开发，以及系统的其他组件。

Zhengli Fu, Joined Array Networks(beijing) R&D team as a SW engineer after got master degree at UESTC in 2009 till now. Focus on Array's ADC product development, including Local Server Load Balancing, Global Server Load Balancing, Link Load Balancing. Familiar with FreeBSD's memory management, newbus framework, TCP/IP stack, scheduler, Intel NIC driver.  Personal interesting: OS implementation, Web development, Ruby language.

付正立，2009年硕士毕业于电子科大后加入Array Networks（北京）研发中心。专注于Array的 ADC 产品开发，包括本地服务器的负载平衡，全球服务器负载均衡，链路层负载均衡。熟悉 FreeBSD 的内存管理，newbus 框架，TCP/IP 协议栈，调度程序，英特尔网卡驱动程序。 个人兴趣︰ OS开发、 Web 开发、 Ruby 语言。
