The 2020 Tech Girl Challenge strives to: 

✔️Improve the gender parity issue in China tech industry

✔️Equip more women with tech and coding skills

✔️Encourage and inspire women to discover their potential in STEM

In order to participate and prepare yourself for a future in tech: 

Step 1: Join this Women's Data Day workshop

Join us on Saturday July 18th and learn how to query data from a database using basic SQL commands. We'll also learn the concepts of Python and experience what it's like to work as a data analyst. 

Step 2: Get FREE access to our 30 hours online course in Data Analytics

This course will cover the fundamentals of programming with Python, Numpy & Pandas, Data Exploration & Visualization and Data Analysis. The goal is to enhance your skills in understanding and manipulating data in different settings. Earn a certificate after completing this course!

Step 3: Complete the online course and get a 15% scholarship to our Data Science bootcamp

Le Wagon's Data Science bootcamp Fall batch runs from 19th October to 18th December, 2020. Each successful candidate will have the benefit of a 15% scholarship to attend this intensive program. 

Women's Data Day workshop - July 18th

Le Wagon Women's Data Day is a full morning and afternoon of coding workshops dedicated to all women who want to gain data skills. If you are interested or know women who want to discover Data Science, this is the place! Our team of teachers will teach you the basics of data science to help you be more efficient in your day to day activity. 

Learning outcomes:

By the end of the day, you’ll: 

✔️ Know how to setup a database and query structured data with SQL 

✔️ Grasp the concepts of Python and experience working as a data analyst 

✔️ Understand tangible tools & techniques behind the Big Data hype

Workshop Agenda:

• 9:00 | Welcome and Setup

Arrive early to get your laptop setup and say hello to your coding buddies for the day.

• 9:30 - 12:30 | SQL Sprint 

A key skill every Data worker should have is talking to the database, and one of the main languages to do that is SQL. In this workshop, you will learn how a typical database is structured from real-world examples and you will have a chance to "ask the database questions" yourself.

• 14:00 - 17:00 | Python & Data Analytics Sprint 

Big Data, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, those are the words you now hear daily on the  news. Behind the hype and the buzzwords lies tools & techniques that can be grasped by anyone. This course will cover the basics of the Python programming language and will dive into the daily tasks of a Data Analyst. The goal is to quickly dive into business cases and learn from real-life datasets.

• 17:00 onwards | Social time 

Share with other learners and our instructors your experience after one-day learning and coding.

Pre-requisite

There are no pre-requisites for these workshops. Just bring a laptop with charger!

Aggy is a part of Le Wagon teaching staff and spring 2019 Le Wagon Full Stack program graduate. Prior to joining the program, she was the head of data and business intelligence team for an Australian e-commerce company. She is now a co-founder of a tech agency with one of her fellow classmates.

第二步 免费获取30小时的在线数据分析课程
