Please join us for a special evening with China’s most decorated figure skater, Chen Lu. The two-time Olympic medalist and World Champion will discuss the challenges she had to overcome, the highlights of her career, and the life lessons she learned through sport. She will talk about her career after retiring from competition, including her role as a coach and entrepreneur. She will also share with the audience her thoughts on how sport can play a positive role in empowering women and helping athletes succeed in all areas of life. The interview will be hosted by Officer and former US professional figure skater Kayla Blomquist. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to hear and learn firsthand from one of China’s greatest athletes!

In accordance with security regulations, any individual who is visiting the U.S. Embassy or Consulates General in China is not permitted to bring a laptop into the Embassy or Consulate General. Individuals, who attend our public events, should be prepared to adhere to this requirement by not bringing a laptop with them. Please note, the Consulate General security guards will not store the items for you. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
