活动简介 | Event Brief

5月20日,哥伦比亚大学与中国营养保健食品协会将于北京举办中美营养研究交流会。本次会议由哥伦比亚大学全球中心 | 北京支持,将邀请哥伦比亚大学的权威学者及科学家,与中国食品营养行业政府官员、行业专家及产业代表一起,共同探讨中国饮食“西化”对肥胖、心血管、神经系统疾病以及衰老造成的影响,从而评估影响中国健康和经济未来的主要营养问题。会议将侧重于探索不利条件的分子机制,同时对如何确保21世纪“更健康”的中国开展交流。主题涉及营养对健康和经济的影响、中国心血管风险因素、脂蛋白代谢及脂肪酸研究发布、老年化营养、欧美化营养、中国临床营养。


On May 20, Columbia University and the China Nutrition and Health Food Association will hold a symposium on nutrition research in Beijing. This meeting invites authoritative scholars and researchers from Columbia University, and experts, representatives, and government officials from China's food and nutrition industry to discuss the impact of westernized Chinese food on obesity, cardiovascular system, nervous system diseases and aging, and to assess China's major nutritional problems that will influence the future of China's health condition and economics. 


The meeting will focus on exploring the molecular mechanisms in adverse condition and on how to ensure a "healthier" China in the 21st century. Topics include the impact of nutrition on health and economics, Chinese cardiovascular risk factors, lipoprotein metabolism and fatty acid study, nutrition in aging, westernized nutrition, and Chinese clinical nutrition.


The symposium is supported by Columbia Global Centers | Beijing.
