Startup Grind Beijing Presents

At this event, Alex will also share his secrets on how Wellcee increased 450% users in a year and reaches over 600,000 active users - making it one of the top apartment sharing platforms in China!

Alex is the founder of Wellcee, a leading international apartment renting platform in China. The inspiration to start Wellcee came when he was living & working in 7 countries across 3 continents. 

After he graduated with his master's degree in engineering from ICAM Nantes in France, he relocated to South Africa to work as a Senior Manager of international marketing in CHEC (China Harbour Engineering Company). The experiences he got when he was living abroad - gave him the idea to create a platform where people can experience a cultural exchange, find a like-minded roommate to share their life. 

Now Wellcee has more than 600K registered users from more than 170 countries in 4 years. The company is growing rapidly & now Wellcee is present in 9 cities in Greater China. It's become far more than just a renting platform, but also a big community with more than 800k people across all social media.
