As society changes and technology democratizes access to the web, digital consumption is already present in consumers’ lives. Brazil has seen a large increase in smartphone, mobile broadband and internet penetration, especially in poorer regions, thus transforming how locals interact with others and with businesses.

Andre Marangon

Head of Innovation Department

at Napp Solutions

Andre is the Head of Innovation at Napp Solutions. He is in charge of development, testing, validation and structuring of new products and new business units. On top of building strategic partnerships for Napp, Andre is a natural tech enthusiast with a passion for design thinking, business intelligence, and data science.

Andre has 20 years of experience under his belt creating innovative solutions and managing top-leading market research projects. He is currently traveling around Asia to understand the market, build strategic partnerships, and bring new solutions to Napp’s retail customers back to Brazil.

Andrés Rodríguez

Co-Director Startup Grind Beijing

Andrés is Startup Grind Beijing's Co-Director. In his daily job, he handles the marketing and sales strategies for Bespoke Travel Co., a Beijing-based boutique travel company curating creative, customized tours and events in China for individual travelers and corporates alike.

Andrés is passionate about entrepreneurship, traveling to develop cultural understanding, and the startup ecosystems in China and Latin America, which is also what brought him to Startup Grind.

Andrés has spent nearly 7 years in Beijing and lived in 4 different continents during the last decade. Andrés is also a full-time dad of a 3rd culture kid, and a big fan of triathlon.
