Speaking of making friends, the bar can be defined as the social center of Western countries. Going out with friends to watch football games or having a drink on the weekend is a must. Therefore, the next Spicy English cultural activity will be:

说到交朋友 “酒吧”可谓是西方人社交的中心了，约上朋友看球赛喝酒精饮料是周末第一大消遣，本期SE的文化活动主题将会是：酒吧文化与鸡尾酒制作

Why does every Western city, no matter how small, have pubs? Why are they such an integral part of our shared culture?

为什么无论多小的西方城市中都会有酒吧？为什么酒吧文化是生活中不可或缺的一部分。

How should you act in a pub? What if you don't like drinking? What are the social rules of Western pub/bar culture? How is it different from clubs? Do you want to do rounds or go "Dutch"? What are some cultural differences between Western countries？

去酒吧需要注意什么？如果你并不喜欢喝酒该怎么办呢？西方酒吧文化中的社会规则是什么？酒吧和夜店的区别在哪里？喝酒是轮流请客还是AA制呢？各个国家之间的酒吧文化存在什么不同？

In this event, we'll discuss the etiquette surrounding pubs and bars and what it all means. What can you talk about? What can't you talk about? What games do we play in bars/pubs and what are their rules? And after that, you get to learn your favorite cocktail by a professional bartender.

本次活动中，我们将讨论酒吧里最基本的礼仪常识。什么该说？什么不该说？以及适合在酒吧里玩的游戏有哪些？游戏的规则是什么？最后我们调酒师将教我们制作一杯专属鸡尾酒。西方的酒吧也是社交的中心，本周末加入我们一起深入了解酒吧文化！
