How does the working environment affect your productivity?


In an increasingly globalizing world, work is becoming more and more flexible, not only as schedule, but also as location. As a matter of fact, the younger generations in megacities like Shanghai, HongKong, New York etc are becoming increasingly mobile, regardless of whether they are working freelance, opening their own businesses or working for an already established company. 

As such they usually work from co-working spaces like the ones below:

在一个日益全球化的世界里，工作变得越来越灵活，不仅体现在工作时间，还表现在办公地点上。事实上，在上海、香港、纽约等大城市的年轻一代，无论他们是自由职业者、创业还是在企业工作，他们的流动性都很大。

The above pictures are taken in co-working spaces across the globe. But apart from allowing a lot of flexibility, what other benefits would working in such an environment have? Of course, if you or your friends are at the beginning of your entrepreneurship career, you might have already heard about all the other benefits. But just to be sure, let me remind you about five of the most important.

上面的图片是在全球各地的联合办公空间拍摄的。但除了有很大灵活性之外，在这样的办公环境中还有什么其他好处呢?当然，如果你或你的朋友正在在创业之初，你可能已经听说过所有其他好处。不过，我想提醒大家五项需要注意的事情。

1、 Networking 社交
What is a better way to receive feedback on your work, if not from the people that work with you in the same space? Not to mention that your future business partners or clients may be working right next to you. 

Working from such an environment might accelerate the growth of one's business.

如果不是来自与你在同一空间工作的人，那么如何更好地接受你的工作反馈呢?更不用说你未来的生意伙伴或者客户可能就在你身边。

在这样一个环境中工作可能会加速一个人的事业的发展。

2、Events 活动
Maybe you won't necessarily experience "Tianmei's World"-style events, but definitely some good business-focused networking events, seminars, workshops and classes. In co-working environments you usually get all these opportunities at your office doorstep. In other words, the events come to you and you don't have to waste time in traffic on your way to attend them.

也许你不一定会体验到《天美的世界》风格的活动，但是肯定有一些好的商业活动，包括社交活动、研讨会、工作坊和课程。在联合办公环境工作，你就可以在办公室门口体验这些活动内容。换句话说，这些活动在你身边举行而不用你花费交通时间去参加。

3、Creative Environment 创意环境
Lost your mojo? There’s an easy solution to that: 
change your working environment. 

Many co-working spaces have a terrace, and when the weather is stunning, sitting outdoors with your laptop and sunshine in your face certainly gets your creative juices flowing.

失去动力了吗? 有一个简单的解决办法: 
改变你的工作环境。

许多联合办公工空间都有一个平台，当天气很好时，坐在户外，带上你的笔记本电脑，在阳光下你的创造力一定会源源不断。

4、Social社交
It's so easy to socialize with people when you are all in the same space. And if you are someone who doesn't go out too much, then having a party at your own office with like-minded individuals is maybe the best thing to do on a Friday evening. And who knows?! Having so many things in common with all the people around, if you are still single, you might even be able to find "the one" without having to go for blind dates anymore.

当同处在一个空间内是很容易进行社交的。如果你是一个不太会出去的人，那么在你自己的办公室和志同道合的人一起开派对可能是周五晚上最好的事情。谁知道呢? !如果你是一个宅在家里的人，可能在身边找到有共同点的“那个人”，而不必再去相亲了。

5、Amenities 设备
It’s definitely a lot better not having to fix the printer or WiFi if they are broken, but when that happens, it's great not having to deal with it. The staff in co-working spaces usually takes careof such boring office stuff. Not to mention that being able to enjoy the benefits of having a coffee machine at your disposal is a great way to spark productivity and get work done more efficiently.

如果打印机或者无线无法正常使用，不需要修理它们，没有问题。在联合办公区的员工经常关心这些无聊的东西。不用说，你可以享受拥有一台咖啡机带来的好处，这是激发生产力和更有效地工作的好方法。
